B2B Sales & Marketing Project Coordinator, Consortium Organizer at Montana World Trade Center
May 2006 - June 2007I organized a collaboration of environmental and engineering service & solution providers in the Montana Environmental & Engineering Consortium (MEEC). In one year, I grew participation to over 20 companies who, by combining their expertise and capabilities, were able to submit RFPs on significantly larger projects then before involvement with the MEEC. This accomplishment was a result of in-depth lead research & generation, creation of targeted marketing & sales collateral, persuasive outside sales presentations, email campaigns, international network building, and direct sales calls. The achieved goal of the project is building a global services and technology consortium as a new way for Montana companies expand their business horizons. Lead Event Manager & Conference Secretary General at Northern Rockies Model Arab League Conference
2004 - 2007I taught a 60-student, 300-level history course on the League of Arab States, This required me to prepare a course syllabubs as well as all related course materials. In addition to teaching the 3-credit course I also graded all paperwork and determined which of the students would go on to serve in leadership positions at the Conference. In addition, I served as Secretary General of the Northern Rockies Model Arab League Conference for three consecutive years. This required significant fundraising & budgeting activities as well as event planning & management. I also was the liaison for all of the other universities joining us which required a high level or organization, time management, and the ability to make good decisions in a high-pressure situation. My key contributions were teaching, coaching, training, public speaking, fund development, gaining corporate support through sales presentations, event planning, event management, project management, public relations, budget management, and overall execution of a successful conference.

April 2005 - May 2006As the Vice President of the Associated Students of the University of Montana I was a decision-maker on the team that distributed 3/4 of a million dollars of student money back into the campus community. I was responsible for organizing the 20 volunteer student senate representatives, as well as numerous other volunteers, projects, student groups, etc. My key contributions were creation of marketing collateral, public speaking, public relations, crisis management, budget management, and volunteer management. Non Profit President and Conference Secretary General at Montana Model United Nations
2001 - 2005Served in various capacities at the Montana Model United Nations Conference hosted by the University of Montana, Missoula. This Conference is a mock-session of the United Nations where regional high school students embody the persona of UN member nations. For the hosted event I assisted with event planning in terms of venue management, catering, and data entry as well as writing topic briefs on a diverse group of issues like World Intellectual Property Law, Food Aid in Africa, and Potable Water Supplies to name a few. In addition, I served as a President of the MUN traveling team. This position included significant fundraising & budget management, control of all logistical functions for team to travel and compete in Model UN events, as well as team selection, coaching, and training. On-site I managed the logistics for all teams members as well as took on public speaking responsibilities of my own.
